Cotton

Boll Worm

  • On appearance of spotted boll worm in cotton field, spray 5% ark of neem ki nimboli/quinalphos (25 EC) @ 2.0 ml or fenvelrate (20 EC) @ 1.0 ml per liter water.

Pink Boll Worm

  • To control pink boll worm, spray Fenvelrate (20 EC) @ 1 ml or Deltamethrin (2.8 EC) @ 1 ml/liter of water.

White Fly

  • Farmers are advised to visit cotton fields regularly to check the apperance of white fly if white fly population reach above economic threshhold level (8-12 white fly/leaf), Spray neem based (Nimbosidin 5 ml + liquid soap 1 ml per liter water) or traizophos (40 EC) @ 2.5 ml/liter water.

Jassid

  • To control of jassid spray of aciphate (70 SP) @ 2g/ Dimethoyet (30 EC) 2.0 ml per liter of water.

Guar

Irrigation

  • In the absence of rainfall, one irrigation is compulsary in guar.

Sucking Pests

  • To control sucking pests (whitefly, jassid etc.) in late sown guar crop, spray thiomithoxam (25 WG) 0.5 gm/litre or acitamiprid (20 SP) 0.4 gm/liter water.

Bacterial Blight

  • On appearance of symptoms of bacterial blight disease, spray twice Streptocyclin @ 20 gram and copper oxychloride (50 WP) 200 gm disolved in 100 liter water at 15 days of interval.

Green Gram

  • To control white fly (which cause yellow mosaic disease) in moong crop, spray Dimethoyet (30 EC)/ trizophos (40E.C.) @ 250 ml per bigha.

Paddy

Irrigation

  • Apply irrigation at regular interval.

Stem Borer

  • For control stem borer insect mix Forate (10 %) @ 4 kg/bigha in the soil.

Kinnow

Seedling

  •  Start planting new seedlings of kinnow in prepared pits of orchards.

Weed Control

  • Keep kinnow orchard free from weed by weeding time to time

Leaf Minor

  • To control leaf minor insects in kinow orchards, spray acitamiprid (20 S.P.) @ 0.4 ml/liter of water.

Fruit Droping

  • To control fruit droping in kinnow orchards, spray bavistin (50 W.P.) @ 1 gm/liter or Propineb (70 W.P.) @ 2 gm/liter of water. Add Zibrelic acid 20 mg per liter water in the prepared spray.
