General Advisory
- Water & Pond Management:
- Collect rainwater when it rains, and clean / repair jalkunds and other water harvesting structures for proper storage
- Crop & Soil Management:
- Monitor soil moisture in fields and do weeding if weed population is high.
- Do soil testing, then apply fertilizer at the right time and dose, and treat soil and seeds before sowing / nursery raising to prevent pests and diseases
- Cover vermi-compost and compost pits to protect from rain, and regularly check fields and storage for insect- pest infestation
- Livestock & Poultry Care:
- Protect animals and birds from bad weather, inspect sheds regularly
- Ensure proper care of feed and drinking water
