Paddy

Blast

  • The prevailing weather condition are favorable for Blast in paddy nursery for control spray with Carbendazim 50% WP @ 10 gm OR Mancozeb 75 %EC @30 gm OR Hexaconazole 5% EC@20 ml in 10 liters of water.

Stem borer

  • If infestation 4-5 % of stem borer observed in paddy field apply quinalphos @ 32 ml. OR Trizophos 35% EC @ 25 ml in 10 liters of water.

Gall Midge

  • Gall-midge management : After 30 days of transplanting, Apply Granular Phorate 10% 10 kg or Quinolfos 5% G @ 5 kg. per hectare when there is water in paddy bund.

Panicle Initiation

  • Farmers are advised to carry out the weeding in paddy and After weeding apply third dose of Nitrogen to Paddy crop at the time of panicle initiation stage @ 25 Kg. per ha. (54 Kg. Urea) after 1 month of transplanting maintain 3-5 cm. water level .

  • Due to forecast for thunderstorm along with lightining one or two places Keep farm animals at safe place and away from open Environment and open water source.

  • There is possibility of incidence of leaf curl disease in chilli due to thrips, white flies and mites which results into curling of leaves and stunted growth of plant.

Sucking pests

  • Due to present weather condition for control of sap sucking pest on Chilli crops, spray 5 % Neem ark or imidacloprid 17.8 SL 5 ml per 10 lit. of water.
  • In chilli, if thrips, fruit borer and tobacco leaf eating caterpillar crosses ETL spraying should be done of Cyantraniliprole 10.26 OD at the rate of 12.0 ml per 10 liters of water.

Tomato

Leaf Blight

  • Due to cloudy weather condition, Tomato leaf blight was noticed, spraying should be taken of Mancozeb 75 WP 25 gms or Copper oxychloride 50 WP 25 gms mix with in 10 liters of water.

Thrips and Whitefly

Fruit borer

  • For management of tomato fruit borer spraying should be taken quinalphos 25 EC 20 ml in 10 litre of water during clear weather condition.
