General Advisory
- According to the weather forecast for the next five days, temperatures are likely to remain normal in the district. Light rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30–40 km/h) is likely at isolated places. In view of these weather conditions, farmers are advised to maintain regular monitoring of Kharif crops, as the grain-filling stage and prolonged cloudy and humid weather may increase the risk of pest infestation. If pest incidence increases, use the recommended insecticide at the recommended dose for effective control. Apply the recommended quantity of fertilizers to vegetables and Kharif crops. Earthing-up and staking should be carried out in maize, vegetables, and other tall- standing crops to prevent or minimize lodging and wind damage.
