Black Gram

Powdery mildew

  • For the control powdery mildew, apply sulphur powder 2 gram or karathane, Celexin 1 gram/litter water.

Niger

Leaf Eating Insect

  • For the protection of leaf eating insect in niger crop apply cloropayriphos & quinalphos @ 1.5 ml/lit. water.

Paddy

False Smut

  • For the control of false smut in rice crop at the stage of flowering spray oxychloride 2 g/lit water.

Disease Control

  • The current condition is favorable for diseases hence spray fungicide like Bavistine/Dithan M-45.

Brown Plant Hopper

  • Phorate insecticide should not be used for Brown Plant Hopper infested rice fields. For control of BPH, Imidachloprid 125 ml or Ithipros+ Imidacholprid @ 150 ml insecticide should be sprayed in 200 litres water/acre.

Blast

  • Blast disease in rice is observed in many rice fields (boat like spots/lesions), Tricyclazole fungicide @ 0.6 grams/litre water can be sprayed.

Zinc deficiency

  • Apply Zinc EDTA @ 0.5 as a foliar spray in case of zinc deficiency.

Urea

  • After application of urea take precaution that water should not remove from the field.

Single Super Phosphate

  • For phosphorus apply SSP (Single super phosphate) which also provide sulphur and calcium to the crop.

  • In the rice crop, continuous monitoring of the economically harmful insects should be done. For this light trap should be used. Light trap should be placed at some distance from the crop and bulb should be lightened from evening 06:30 PM to 10:30 PM and collected insects should be destroyed in the morning hours.

Do's

  • For year around fodder production for cattle adopt - Crop rotation - Berseem + Mustard - Hybrid Napier - Lobia.
  • To prevent from important disease (Heamorrhagic Septicaemia (H.S.), Block quarter (B.Q.), Anthrax, Theileriosis & warms) in animal consult the veterinary Doctor. This is the high time for de worming. The medicine like Piparagen, Benminth & Panaraquar are effective .Now a day medicated pellets vetfan - 600 is also advisable , but before supplement consult the visionary Doctor.
  • For each animal make sure that 40-60 gm salt should be supplemented during summer season.
  • To gain more production give 25-30 kg green fodder per day in the ratio of 3:1 green and dry fodder.
  • During last 3 months of pregnancy pregnant cows should be fed with 10-15 kg green fodder, 30-50 gram mineral mixture and 30 gram ordinary salt.
  • Milch animals should be fully milked to avoid mastitis disease. Dairy farmers are also advised to protect the animals by applying light insecticide solution on the teat and udder parts of milch animals after milking.
