How We Research Government Scheme Information
NaPanta publishes scheme information to help farmers understand - not to process applications. Here is how we research, verify, and maintain this information.
Our Sources
- Official ministry websites and portals - pmkisan.gov.in, pmfby.gov.in, mnre.gov.in, nabard.org, and 0+ other authoritative government portals
- Press Information Bureau (PIB) releases - Cabinet approvals, budget announcements, scheme modifications
- NABARD operational guidelines - For all NABARD-channelled schemes (KCC, DEDS, AIF, RIDF)
- State government gazette notifications - For state-specific schemes (Rythu Bandhu, YSR Rythu Bharosa) and state-level subsidy percentages
- RBI circulars - For KCC interest rate and priority sector lending norms
Our Verification Process
- 1Primary source research
Every scheme page is written directly from official scheme guidelines. We do not copy from aggregator sites. Each key figure (subsidy percentage, credit limit, premium rate) is cross-verified against the official portal.
- 2Quarterly review cycle
All scheme pages are reviewed once per quarter against the ministry portal. We check for changes to subsidy rates, eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and portal URLs.
- 3Budget and notification monitoring
We monitor PIB releases, Union Budget documents, and ministry newsletters. When a scheme is modified (e.g., KCC loan limit change, PMFBY premium cap revision), pages are updated within 48 hours of the PIB notification.
- 4Last-verified date
Every scheme page displays a "Last verified" date at the bottom so you know when the information was last checked against official sources.
Limitations and Disclaimer
- Scheme details - especially subsidy rates, credit limits, and premium structures - are set by the government and can change without notice. We aim to update quickly but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy.
- State-specific details (state co-sharing, nodal contacts, district offices) are sourced from state portals and may vary from what your local agriculture officer tells you. Always confirm with the district agriculture office before applying.
- NaPanta is a private company (FarmGreen Agritech India Private Limited) and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a representative of any government ministry or implementing agency.
- We do not process, assist with, or facilitate scheme applications. All applications must be made directly through the official portals and implementing agencies.

Scheme pages are reviewed quarterly against official ministry portals. When a scheme is modified by a PIB notification or budget announcement, NaPanta updates the page within 48 hours of the official notice.
Can I apply for government schemes through NaPanta?
No. NaPanta provides research-based information to help farmers understand scheme eligibility, benefits and application processes. All applications must be made directly through official portals and implementing agencies. NaPanta is not affiliated with any government ministry.
Why does scheme information sometimes differ from what a bank or agriculture officer says?
State-specific details like subsidy percentages, co-sharing ratios and nodal contacts vary by state and can change with annual budgets. NaPanta covers central guidelines; your district agriculture office has the most current state-level details. Always confirm before applying.
How does NaPanta verify scheme eligibility criteria?
Each key figure — subsidy percentage, credit limit, premium rate, land holding limit — is cross-verified against the official scheme portal. For schemes like KCC, RBI circulars and NABARD operational guidelines are the primary sources. PIB releases are monitored for any scheme modifications.
