Chickpea

- Due to the decline in night temperature, there is a decrease in the activity of gram caterpillars in the chickpea and pea crop; hence farmers are advised to monitor the crop.

- In timely sown chickpea crop, do topping/nipping after 35-40 days or in 15-20 cm plant height and do first irrigation 40-45 days after sowing.
